Puck Walking the Starry Path

This piece was created in 2002 when I first started taking the Art Quilt techniques I had been exploring to a new level.

This image is of Puck - the beloved mischevious faerie-boy character from Shakespeare's "Midsummer Night's Dream". I've often said my oldest son is "Tigger crossed with Puck" (it's true!) and this looks remarkably like him.

As I forge onward, I hope one day (soon!) to actually put the quilted border around this one!
