The Ice Faerie

When I started this quilted lady, I had already created her sister, "The Water Faerie". And somehow the Ice Faerie came out crisper, and with more contrast. My friend Deirdre looked at her and exclaimed how it made her think of her trip to Alaska. And so I realized, she was indeed a Faerie of the ice...

She was one of those projects that started out good, and then got a little difficult, and then resolved better than I'd hoped!
