These One of a Kind Art Dolls have been created from the
many scraps that Waltzing Dog Art Quilts generate,
pieces of silk flowers, and also from my delightful pack-rat-ish stash of wonderful trims, beads, odds & ends!

"Epona"

~The BODIES~
There are 2 types of bodies ~
The smaller dolls are created on cones that are left over after thread is used up.
The bodies of the taller dolls are recycled plastic soda, shampoo, even ketchup bottles!
The bottles are filled with scraps that are too small to use, then covered with batting scraps, fabric, flowers, trim, beads ~ whatever!

~The FACES~
Each of the faces is unique,
individually hand-drawn by me on deer-hide leather with Prismacolor pens and archival metallic-paint pens,
then coated with a Krylon finish for long-lasting protection from yellowing and UV rays.
