Birth as a recent influence…

I took a lot of time off from the studio last year, preparing for the birth of my second son. When I finally got back into the swing, not oo long before Quinn's birth, I created my “Birth Lotus” quilted pillow cover. This image was powerful for me, and created a focus for my birth experience.

Since the birth last Autumn, I’ve found my creative energies have returned invigorated. I’ve been very prolific in the studio this year so far!!

The biggest challenge I face these days is finding time to create art while I'm not chasing our very active son... or holding our sweet new baby ; )
